Steven Izen is a Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Case Western Reserve University, where tenure began in July 1983, and has also served as a Professor of Mathematics. In addition to academic roles, Steven Izen is a Principal at Plexar Imaging since 2010. Previously, Steven Izen worked as a Summer Faculty Fellow at NASA Glenn Research Center from 1987 to 1993, focusing on optical tomography in the Instrumentation and Controls Division. Steven Izen's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1979-1983) and both a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering (1975-1979).
