Marcus deals with public law issues and is responsible for environmental and planning law in Plesner.
Marcus advises and represents public authorities as well as Danish and international companies in cases with complex environmental and planning law issues, including in court and appeals cases as well as in expropriation cases.
Marcus advises clients on a wide range of regulatory topics, including various permit requirements and supervision, supply law topics, rules on grid connection, etc. of production and consumption facilities for the electricity grid, approval requirements and support, etc. for renewable energy plants and heat supply projects, etc.
Marcus previously worked as a legal specialist consultant at Herlev Municipality's Directorate Secretariat. From here, Marcus has in-depth knowledge of the municipal power of attorney and the Municipal Boards Act, as well as the process and the considerations that apply when enforcing the environmental and planning legislation.
Finally, Marcus has experience in organizing and conducting legal investigations - particularly investigations that require the review of large data and document collections.
In his work, Marcus places great emphasis on good collaboration and focuses on the advice being useful in the client's commercial and/or political reality. Marcus has extensive experience in advising and communicating to the commercial or political management level in various organisations.
