Afonso Pinheiro is an experienced professional with a wide range of work experience. Their career began in 2012 as a Teaching Assistant for Principles of Neurosciences and Anatomy at NOVA Medical School - Faculdade de Ciências Médicas. In 2016, they completed an internship at José de Mello Saúde in the innovation, business planning and management control department. In 2017, they were a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. In 2018, they became a Partner at Importrust, where they helped clients buy cars from any dealership in Europe with a 100% digital journey. In 2019, they joined Power Dot as a Partner, Head of BD & International Markets, where they were involved in consolidating the position in Portugal, expanding to 3 new geographies, creating the Uber EV Charging Network in Portugal and France, and launching the Operations Vertical. In 2021, they became the CEO & Co-founder of Pleez, a Bloomberg Terminal for Restaurants.

Afonso Pinheiro began their education in 2003, completing 2nd and 3rd cycles of secondary school at Colégio Salesianos de Lisboa - OSJ in 2010. Afonso then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Medicine at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2011 to 2017. In 2016, Afonso Pinheiro participated in an Erasmus program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, also in the field of Medicine. Afonso is currently enrolled at ThePower Business School, but has not yet obtained a degree. Afonso Pinheiro also holds a First Certificate in English from Cambridge College.
