Joshua L. has a diverse work experience background in design roles. Joshua is currently working as the Head of Design (Product and Brand) at Pledge since August 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at Healthily from April 2020 to May 2021, and also served as the Lead Product Designer from September 2019 to April 2020.
In 2009, Joshua started their career as a Freelance Designer, where they worked with various brands in industries such as education, finance, sports, marketing, and analytics platforms. Joshua specialized in creating user-friendly design systems and focused on data and innovation. Joshua continued this freelance work until April 2020.
Joshua also co-founded Studio Dot Info in September 2014, where they served as the Head of Design. Here, they delivered digital product design solutions and branding and worked on creating new market-ready products or innovating existing product platforms. Joshua stayed with the company until August 2019.
Additionally, Joshua worked as a Lead Information Design Consultant at QuantumBlack from February 2014 to September 2014 and as a Senior Visual (Information) Designer at Thomson Reuters from March 2013 to February 2014.
Before that, they worked at Signal | Noise as an Information & User Interface Designer from February 2012 to March 2013 and as an Information Designer from February 2011 to February 2012. Joshua played a crucial role in shaping the creative style of the agency and visually communicating data and content for clients in fashion labels and financial institutes.
Joshua also briefly worked as a Workshops/Lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts from October 2011 to October 2012. During this time, they conducted sessions and workshops, introducing design software and best practices to students.
Furthermore, Joshua gained experience as an Installation and Print Designer at Troika ltd from October 2010 to January 2011 and as an Editorial Designer at The Times in 2009.
Joshua L. began their education in 2006 at Arts University Bournemouth, where they pursued a BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design. Joshua completed the program in 2007. Following this, Joshua went on to attend the University of Westminster from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a BA Hons in Graphic Information Design.
