Alexandru David is a Senior Java Software Engineer at Playtika since September 2020, focusing on implementing slot machine game designs and associated services using a technology stack that includes Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Aerospike, Apache Kafka, and Vertica. Prior to Playtika, Alexandru held various roles at Orange from August 2017 to September 2020, including Senior Java Developer for targeted ads and backend development for machine learning projects, where a microservices architecture was employed. Alexandru began a career at Honeywell as a Software Support Engineer, contributing to both front-end and back-end solutions, and previously worked at Ericsson as a Software Developer involved in the Volvo Connected Car project. Alexandru holds a Master of Engineering in Laser and Optical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
