Vitor Balbio has a diverse work experience in the field of computer graphics and art production. Vitor has served as a Senior Technical Artist & Tool Developer at Playgig since May 2022. Before that, in 2022, they worked at Fortis Games as a Technical Artist & Lead Artist, where they developed art production pipelines and coordinated various art production teams.

From 2013 to 2021, Vitor worked at Cogumelo Softworks, where they held the role of CTO and Founder. During their time there, they focused on research and development in computer graphics, particularly in the areas of AR/VR and scientific visualization systems for biomechanics, engineering, architecture, and design. Vitor was also involved in tools and middleware software development.

In 2021, Vitor worked at Oktagon Games as a Technical Artist & Lead Artist for the PIGGY: HUNT game. Their responsibilities included art production pipeline development, coordination of art production teams, providing feedback and support for art-related issues, onboarding and training new team members, establishing and meeting deadlines, and optimizing graphics.

Vitor also gained experience at Fundação Getulio Vargas as an R&D specialist in computer graphics from 2019 to 2021. Vitor worked at Pandora Game Studio as a Tech Artist / Lead Developer from 2014 to 2020, and at Mobiliar as a Computer Graphics Developer from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Vitor had a role as an R&D specialist in computer graphics at Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia from 2013 to 2015.

Vitor Balbio pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Vitor completed their Bachelor's degree, a Licenciatura Plena em Ciências Computacionais, from the Universidade La Salle, studying from 2007 to 2011. Later, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree, a Mestrado em Ciências Computacionais, from UERJ (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro), where they studied from 2015 to 2016.
