Yuan Liu has a diverse work experience in various roles related to inventory planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain management. In 2008, Yuan worked as a Stock Control Team Leader at L.K.Bennett, where they led a team responsible for stock management and implemented new processes. From 2011 to 2012, Yuan worked as a Materials Controller at Pourshins, where they were responsible for forecasting, ordering, and inventory management. At Unilever from 2012 to 2014, Yuan held the position of Category Demand Planner and was responsible for developing forecasts, improving forecast accuracy, and conducting complexity analysis. In 2014, Yuan worked as a Senior Demand Planner at GOLDEN ACRE DAIRY FOODS LIMITED. In 2015, Yuan briefly worked as a Contractor in the Supply Chain Function at GSK, leading a project on data quality framework deployment. Since 2015, Yuan has been serving as an Inventory Planning Manager at PlayerLayer.
Yuan Liu completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Finance and Investment from the University of Nottingham from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Yuan obtained a Data Analysis in SQL certification from DataCamp in January 2021. Yuan also obtained an ISEB Business Analysis Practice certification in March 2015, and an APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management from APICS Triangle Chapter in April 2014.
