Allison Kopcha has a comprehensive and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Allison currently serves as the Chief Business Development Officer, Licensing & Partnerships at PLBY Group, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of EVP Global Licensing & JVs at the same company from January 2020 to March 2022.
Before joining PLBY Group, Inc., Allison worked at CAA-GBG Global Brand Management Group, where they held various roles. As the EVP, Global Lifestyle Brands from July 2017 to December 2019, they were responsible for overseeing brand management for key global accounts including Netflix, Skechers, Playboy, and Christian Lacroix. Allison developed and executed global strategies across product, sales & distribution, marketing, and retail marketing across different regions.
Additionally, Allison served as the EVP, CAA-GBG China from July 2014 to July 2017. In this role, they led all aspects of the business, including strategy, business development, operations, and brand management for a high-profile portfolio of brands and celebrities in a complex and dynamic market. Allison also held the position of EVP, North America at CAA-GBG from July 2011 to July 2014.
Prior to their time at CAA-GBG, Allison worked at Coburn Communication, Inc. as the EVP, Strategic Alliances & PR from March 2006 to June 2011. Allison also served as the Vice President, Strategic Alliances & PR at the same company.
Allison's earlier experiences include roles at Latina Media Ventures as the Licensing Director from 2004 to 2006, at THE LICENSING COMPANY LIMITED as the VP, North America from October 2001 to March 2004, at Viacom Consumer Products as the International Licensing Manager from 1999 to 2001, and at Playboy Entertainment Group as the International Marketing Administrator from 1996 to 1999.
Allison Kopcha has a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania. Allison also holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs with a focus on marketing, Spanish, and Latin American Studies from The George Washington University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University in 2021.
