Olgi Alonso is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with extensive experience in sales and marketing. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Wholesale at Playa Hotels & Resorts since November 2018, Olgi plays a vital role in supporting sales and marketing efforts for 20 hotels across the Caribbean and Mexico. Previously, Olgi held the position of Executive Sales Manager, USA at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts from December 2015 to November 2018, where responsibilities included managing established accounts and pursuing new business opportunities. Olgi’s earlier experience includes a tenure at Allegro Resorts Marketing Corporation, where roles ranged from Contract Manager/In House Manager to Contract Manager, overseeing contracting processes for USA and Canada tour operators. Olgi’s career commenced in sales at Dorado International from 1985 to June 1995. Education was acquired at Miami Dade College.
