Samuel Bennett is a Research Software Engineer at Aperio Software since October 2023, with a strong background in data science and content management. As Cyclocross Editor and Content Acquisition Manager at Play Sports Network since July 2019, Samuel has developed a comprehensive database on cycling and played a key role in optimizing recommendation services for The GCN App using TensorFlow and PyTorch on Google Cloud Platform. Prior to this, Samuel served as a Data Scientist at The Floow from July 2016 to July 2019. Academic credentials include a PhD in Solar Physics from The University of Sheffield and an MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Aberystwyth University.
