Benjamin Bryer is currently a Client Service Specialist at PlatformQ Education. Benjamin has also previously worked as a Medical Fellow at Global Public Service Academies and as a Research Intern at Adventist HealthCare.
Bryer first developed an interest in helping others while they were still in high school. Benjamin would often lead volunteer trips to Guatemala and Belize, where they would help with public health screenings and other health-related tasks.
After graduating from college, Bryer worked as a Research Intern at Adventist HealthCare. Benjamin was responsible for conducting research and assisting with the development of new medical treatments.
In 2019, Bryer began working as a Medical Fellow at Global Public Service Academies. In this role, they helped develop a Community Needs Assessment and a Community Health Intervention for a local indigenous community. Benjamin also assisted community health workers daily at the Centro de Salud and arranged and facilitated public health screenings.
In April 2020, Bryer began working as a Client Service Specialist at PlatformQ Education. In this role, they work directly with university admissions teams to manage and produce virtual events for prospective and admitted students. Benjamin also on-boards and trains new hires on organizational processes and event production, and manages and updates external client training resources.
Benjamin Bryer completed their high school diploma at Gann Academy before moving on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland. Benjamin then completed their Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington. Benjamin has also earned various certifications from the CITI Program in Human Subjects Learners, Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research, GCP – Social and Behavioral Research Best Practices for Clinical Research, and Social & Behavioral Research - Basic/Refresher.
They work with Megan Kesler - Client Service Specialist, Hunter Smith - Client Service Representative, and Emma Casey - Director of Client Strategy. Benjamin Bryer reports to Keren Vestal, Client Services Manager.
