Sterling Oakland is an experienced professional in strategic program management and event technology, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Programs for the Advanced Technology Group at Platform Science since April 2022. Previously, Sterling held the position of Senior Strategic Program Manager at the same company. Prior to that role, Sterling worked at Del Oro Consulting, Inc. from May 2018 to April 2022 as a Program Manager focused on Cisco Global Events, managing various aspects of event technology and digital integration. Sterling also held the position of Vice President Operations at Straight Up Technologies, overseeing global event operations for major tech clients, and served as General Manager of Technology Services at Smart City Networks, where responsibilities included client interaction and event technology installation. Sterling earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
