Sam Harrell is a seasoned software architect currently serving as a Senior Software Architect in the Advanced Technology Group at Platform Science since March 2021. Prior to this role, Harrell held various positions including Research Director at NBCUniversal, Inc., focusing on emerging technologies, and as Hacker-in-Residence at TechArb, where mentorship of start-ups was a key responsibility. Experience also includes serving as VP of Product Development at Pindrop Inc., where indoor location and mapping solutions were developed, and founding Big Air Software, LLC, which designed and built a 3D trail map system for ski resorts. Earlier in the career, Harrell worked at Microsoft as a Mobile Application Developer and at Cable Arm, Inc. as Lead Software Developer, creating GPS positioning systems for offshore construction equipment.
