LakshmanaRaja Kannan has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. LakshmanaRaja began their career as a System Analyst at Ramco Systems in 2004, where they were involved in developing new features for the Virtual works (ERP) platform. LakshmanaRaja also used their strong SQL Server and .NET knowledge to assist application teams with problem-solving.

In 2010, LakshmanaRaja transitioned to a role as a Documentary and Candid Photographer at The Pebbles, where they honed their skills in capturing authentic and meaningful moments.

Following this, they took on the role of Co-Director for the Yakkai Tamil Movie from 2014 to 2016. In this position, they were responsible for scheduling shoots, coordinating requirements for art, costumes, and artists, and managing the callsheet for the main artist.

In 2016, LakshmanaRaja worked as an Editing Consultant for JAGAT, where they contributed to the re-editing of the entire film for its international release. The film went on to win the National Award for Best Film in Malaysia.

Continuing their passion for data, LakshmanaRaja joined Time Science Consulting Services in 2014 as a Time Science Researcher and Counsellor. LakshmanaRaja strongly believed in the power of data to bring about positive change in individuals and society. LakshmanaRaja was able to draw insights and patterns from human behavior.

LakshmanaRaja's dedication to artificial intelligence led him to become a Machine Learning Fellow at Fellowship.AI from April 2022 to September 2022. During their time there, they gained further skills and knowledge in the field.

Currently, LakshmanaRaja is an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at platform.ai since September 2022. LakshmanaRaja'swork focuses on building computer vision-based AI solutions and researching innovative ways to democratize AI for the benefit of businesses and mankind.

LakshmanaRaja Kannan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Engineering from E.G.S.Pillay Engg college in Nagapattinam, from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Bharathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, where they pursued Higher Secondary education with a focus on Computer Science from 1984 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, LakshmanaRaja Kannan has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications in Deep Learning with PyTorch: Neural Style Transfer from Coursera in February 2022, Machine Learning from Stanford Online in January 2022, Statistics for Machine Learning from Great Learning in January 2022, Machine Learning with Python from IBM in December 2021, and Google Data Analytics Specialization from Google in November 2021.
