Fred Whittaker is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Plastic Energy since May 2022, focusing on the development and commissioning of a commercial plastic chemical recycling plant utilizing pyrolysis technology in collaboration with Sabic. Previous experience includes roles as Design Engineer and Associate Design Engineer at Fluor Corporation from September 2018 to May 2022, working on major chemical plants under lump sum FEED contracts. Additionally, Fred served as a Construction Coordinator for The Love Fields Glastonbury, overseeing the installation of temporary facilities for the festival from May 2015 to July 2018. Early career roles at Cummins Inc. involved engineering and development projects related to gas generator systems. Fred holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oxford Brookes University.
