Thomas Schmitt-John is an accomplished leader in the field of biomedical research with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as the Leader of "Plasma Life Sciences" at Plasmatreat GmbH since June 2016, Thomas has previously held positions as an Associate Professor at Aarhus University, focusing on the molecular pathology of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and teaching Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Developmental Biology from May 2005 to April 2015. Earlier roles include Lecturer at the University of Bielefeld and Co-Founder and Research Coordinator at Praenadia GmbH. Thomas’s research career began as a researcher at HelmholtzZentrum München and Battelle Europa.
