Peter Groth is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in field service and equipment maintenance. Currently serving as a Senior Field Service Engineer at Plasma-Therm since December 2020, Peter has previously held the position of Customer Service Engineer at OEM Group, Inc. from April 2010 to December 2020, and Lead Field Service Engineer at Tegal Corporation from June 1985 to March 2010, focusing on the installation, repair, and maintenance of etching equipment throughout North America. Peter started their career as a Senior Equipment Technician at Fairchild Semiconductor in Wappinger Falls, NY, where responsibilities included the installation and maintenance of plasma etching and photolithography tools. Peter holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Dutchess Community College, earned between 1978 and 1980.
