Richard Southwell is an experienced mathematician currently employed at PlantingSpace since April 2021. Richard serves as a Senior Research Associate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and has previously held positions as a Research Associate in Mathematics at the University of York and Assistant Professor at Tsinghua University. Richard Southwell's career also includes postdoctoral research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a research associate role at The University of Sheffield. Richard Southwell obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from The University of Sheffield, a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics from the University of York, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of York.
