Alex Abelin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alex is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of PlantBaby, an innovative nutrition company that designs clean and healthy plant-based, dairy-free drinks, foods, and formulas. Prior to this, they worked at Verizon as the Urban Affairs Manager in the Smart Cities division, where they focused on deploying community technology hubs. Before Verizon, Alex was the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of LQD WiFi, where they enabled Smart City development and provided community WiFi to close the digital divide. Alex also co-founded and served as the CEO of LiquidTalent, a mobile marketplace that facilitated professional connections and transactions. Alex began their career at Google, where they held multiple roles, including Public Affairs Manager and Account Strategist. Alex'sresponsibilities at Google included building relationships with government officials, managing nonprofit investments, and optimizing ad spend for Fortune 500 companies. Earlier in their career, Alex also worked as the Events and Catering Manager at Festivities Catering.

Alex Abelin attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business in 2005.
