David Sitterud has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. David began their career in 2002 as a Senior Account Executive at My ePHIT, where they worked until 2004. David then joined Beneficial Financial Group as a Financial Professional from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they took on the role of Director of Sales at PlanSource until 2010. From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Sales Manager at Insphere Insurance Solutions. In 2012, they became the Owner of Sitterud Insurance Solutions, which they operated until 2017. In 2017, they founded Plansight and also held the position of Chief Operations Officer. Through Plansight, they aimed to transform the way employee benefits are perceived and provided technological solutions to benefit brokers, carriers, and employers.

From 1998 to 2003, David Sitterud attended Utah Valley University, where they pursued a degree in Finance with a specialization in Business Finance.
