Lorcan Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lorcan currently works as the Head of Sales at Planr, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, Lorcan worked as an Account Executive at Planr from July 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Planr, Lorcan worked as an Account Manager at Mahlab, a creative media agency, from February 2019 to November 2021, where they managed major client accounts. Lorcan also worked as an Area Account Manager at Laydex Limited from September 2016 to September 2018, where they successfully managed a large territory and met annual targets. Lorcan started their career as a Sales Assistant at Tipperary Co-Op from January 2006 to June 2009 and later became a Coach for GAA from June 2008 to August 2011. In addition, Lorcan has experience as a Client Executive at Petra Management from June 2015 to June 2016, where they were involved in the entire business development process. Prior to that, they worked as an Entertainment & Contracts Manager at Corbett's Bar from June 2013 to June 2015, where they oversaw supplier contracts, social media strategies, and events planning, successfully increasing weekly revenue.

Lorcan Ryan pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Leaving Certificate from St. Joseph's College, Borrisoleigh, which they completed from 2004 to 2009. Lorcan then went on to University College Cork, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English Language and Literature and Geography, studying from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, Lorcan pursued a Master's degree at University College Cork, specializing in the field of Contemporary Migration and Diaspora, which they completed in 2013.
