Shira Samuels-Shragg is an accomplished conductor currently serving as the Assistant Conductor for the Plano Symphony Orchestra since August 2022. Previously, Shira held the position of Guest Conductor with the Spokane Symphony for a brief period in October 2022 and was the Assistant Conductor for the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) in the summer of 2022. Shira's educational background includes a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from The Juilliard School, attained between 2020 and 2022, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Swarthmore College, completed in May 2020.
