Dana Robinson's work experience includes a variety of roles in diverse organizations. Starting in 2006, they served as a Marketing and Promotions Intern at Radio One. In 2007, they worked as an Intern/Agent Assistant at BMG Models and Talent. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Promotions and Event Committee Member at Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN). In 2008, they also worked as an Event Coordinator at Primetime Omnimedia. In 2010, they became the Director of Marketing and Communication at the Arthritis Foundation, and later, in 2014, transitioned to the role of eCRM Project Manager. From 2013 to the present, they have been an Adjunct Professor of Fundamentals of Communication at the Community College of Baltimore County. They also held various roles at Planned Parenthood of Maryland, Inc., starting as a Director of Communications and Marketing from 2015 to 2020, and then serving as a Senior Director of Communications and Marketing from 2020 to the present. Lastly, starting in 2022, they are a Senior Director of Health and Affiliate Communication at Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
Dana Robinson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communications from Delaware State University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Media Studies at The New School.
