Carolyn Cox has extensive experience in reproductive health policy and advocacy, currently serving as Senior Director of Programs & Initiatives at Planned Parenthood Federation of America since August 2012, where roles have included Director of Strategic Initiatives and Associate Director of Policy Campaigns. Prior experience includes research assistance at Guttmacher Institute and a fellowship at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, where policy backgrounders on critical issues were developed. Carolyn has also held various positions related to research and volunteer work at organizations such as the Institute for Social Research and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, focusing on Global Perspectives on Reproductive Health and Justice.
