Emily Tanasse is an experienced medical professional currently working as a Medical Assistant at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest since July 2022. Previously, Emily served as a Medical Scribe at Inscribe Health, supporting clinical efforts in the Emergency Department at Palomar Health. Emily's engineering background includes significant roles such as Mechanical Engineer in Bioprinting at 3D Systems Corporation, where design and development of 3D printing technologies for organ scaffolding were conducted. Prior research roles included positions at NASA Ames Research Center and The University of Georgia, where contributions to advanced materials and medical device development were made. Emily holds a degree from Boise State University and completed a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Program at UC San Diego.
