Hugo Amorim has extensive work experience in the IT support field. Hugo is currently working as a Customer Support Representative at Planhat since 2023. Before that, they worked at B-Simple from 2022 to 2023 as an IT Support Supervisor and from 2021 to 2022 as an IT Support Technician. Prior to that, they worked at Claranet Portugal from 2018 to 2021 as an IT Support Field Support, where they handled various responsibilities such as support and configuration of different software used in hospitals, installation and configuration of workstations, and administration of the hospital network. Hugo also worked as an IT Support Technician at Claranet Portugal from 2018 to 2018, where they provided 1st line remote support and administration of access for users.

Before Claranet Portugal, Hugo worked at Adecco as an IT Support Technician from 2013 to 2015, where they provided customer support, resolved network anomalies, and offered technical back-office services. Prior to that, they worked as a Customer Support at Novabase from 2010 to 2012. Hugo started their career at Vobis Computers as a Sales Assistant in 2003.

Hugo Amorim's education history begins in 2000 when they attended Colégio de Gaia and obtained a High School Diploma in Computer Technician in 2004. After completing high school, they went on to pursue higher education at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. It is not specified when they started their master's degree program, but their enrollment is ongoing. The field of study for their master's degree is in Electronic and Computers. In 2022, they furthered their academic journey by enrolling at Universidade Aberta, where they are currently pursuing a Licenciatura degree in Informatics Engineering.
