Rebecca Waiting has an extensive work experience in customer service and account management. Rebecca began their career in 2004 as an Account Manager at Communisis. Rebecca then moved on to become the Key Account Manager for Barclays at the same company. In 2011, they joined Bede Gaming Ltd as the Head of B2B and B2C Services. In 2013, they joined SaleCycle as the Chief Operations Officer (COO). Rebecca was later promoted to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Global Head of Account Management, where they reported to the CEO and was responsible for setting the strategic direction and executing SaleCycle's services globally. Rebecca also drove excellence in client growth and retention globally, as well as developing a global customer engagement and retention strategy. In 2021, they joined PlanetWatchers as the Head of Customer Success.
Rebecca Waiting is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations at Durham University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Rebecca previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Northumbria University in 2011, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Sunderland in 2004. Rebecca has also obtained several certifications, including a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice from the Chartered Management Institute in 2018, a Customer Services Diploma QLS Level 7 from Oxford Home Study College in 2015, a Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) from Sama in 2012, and a Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) from First Aid Awards Limited in 2020.
