Tricia Schers is an experienced professional in communications and partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Partnerships & Development at Planeterra since April 2022. Prior to this role, Tricia held the position of Senior Communications Specialist at Qualico Canada from January 2021 to April 2022. With a strong background in marketing and sales, Tricia served as Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Media and later as Marketing and Communications Manager at Frontiers North Adventures from July 2010 to March 2020. Tricia's earlier positions include Regional Director at UNICEF, Division Manager of Resource Development at the United Way of Winnipeg, PR and Marketing Advisor for the Suriname National AIDS Programme at Crossroads International, Manager of Communications at the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, and Communications Coordinator at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Tricia holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Responsibility & Sustainability from the University of Toronto and a Creative Communications Diploma in Public Relations from RRC Polytech.
