Joshitha Sankam is a Project Officer at the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre, specializing in Impact Assessment and Adaptation Analysis. As a Global Outreach Fellow with the Planetary Health Alliance and a member of Women Leaders for Planetary Health, Joshitha actively engages in global health initiatives. Previous roles include Consultant and Project Associate at the Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Delegate for the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, and NextGen Climate & Health Ambassador with Physicians for Social Responsibility. Joshitha's experience encompasses health sensitization in climate change contexts, particularly in South Asia, and research on health vulnerability at Azim Premji University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Narayana Dental College, alongside additional studies in Global Health and Public Policy.
