Luisa Teixeira is an experienced program and project manager with a strong background in geospatial data and sustainability solutions. Currently serving as Program Manager at Planet since October 2021, Luisa is leading the NICFI Satellite Data Program to utilize near-real-time satellite imagery for environmental conservation. Previous roles include Project Manager at Vizzuality, where Luisa focused on digital product development and team coordination, and Remote Sensing Specialist at WWF, specializing in marine ecosystem protection. Luisa has also held positions at Nextdoor, Accreditation Services International, and Coureon Logistics, honing skills in account management, GIS, and community mapping. Luisa holds a Master’s degree in Geomatics from Lund University and has participated in various prominent environmental and technological projects throughout the career.
