Bill Raymond is an accomplished professional in geospatial solutions and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Solutions Engineering for Planet since October 2018, where leadership of a Sales Engineering team focuses on delivering value to US Government clients through satellite imagery. Bill also holds a long-term role as a Geospatial Systems Architect with the Air National Guard, contributing significantly to the development of the GuardView enterprise GIS for emergency management. Previous positions include Executive Vice President at Threat Owl, LLC, and various technical roles at companies such as KeyW Corporation and Esri, where Bill specialized in interpreting customer requirements and implementing geospatial solutions. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Salem State University.
