Walter Dan Winkler has extensive experience in maritime and aviation operations, serving as a Merchant Mariner since January 1979 and holding qualifications for USCG all oceans 1600 ton / 3000 ton ITC commercial and private vessels. Current roles include Line Pilot for the 135 program at PlaneSense, Inc. and Owner of Taft Aviation & Marine, focusing on aviation and marine operations. Winkler has instructed for various aviation training programs, including Easa Program Instructor Pilot at FlightSafety Academy and as an Instructor Pilot for government contracts with Ansible Government Solutions. Previous management roles include General Manager at Watermakers Air, combining aviation and charter services. Education is rooted in military and strategic leadership from Culver Military Academy.
