David Ortiz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David started their career at General Electric as a Technical Support, before moving on to Primaflor where they held roles such as Operations Director and later became the Director of Salads and Processed foods. In 2017, they joined G's Group as the General Manager for Love Fresh Co., and then took on the role of General Manager for G's Europe Chilled Foods. David went on to become a collaborator at ENAE Business School in 2013. Currently, they are the Managing Director EMEA at PLANASA, a global agri-tech leader specializing in breeding next-generation berry varietals.

David Ortiz attended iNegotiate® in 2019 to complete The Master Negotiator Workshop. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA at IE Business School from 2010 to 2011 with a focus on Executive studies. Their earlier education includes a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Automation and Electronics from Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, which they completed from 1996 to 2001.
