Matilde Chambel is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in grant compliance, monitoring, and evaluation within the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as a Grants Compliance Officer at Plan International Ireland since May 2022, Matilde has held various roles, including Grants Compliance Support Officer and Business Development Intern. Previous positions include Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor and Programmes Manager at Collective Aid, as well as an International Operations Consultant at the United Nations Population Fund. Matilde's early career involved significant contributions to CISV Portugal, including roles as National Coordinator and Junior Representative, and participation in the founding of the UNICEF Portugal Youth group. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Humanitarian Action from University College Dublin and a Licenciatura in Management from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, complemented by an Erasmus exchange in Economics at Istanbul Technical University.
