Sandra Kovacheva has a wealth of work experience, beginning with an International Legal Trainee position at Energy Community in 2010. Sandra then held two International Legal Trainee positions at Norton Rose Fulbright and Saint-Gobain in 2012. In 2013, they were an International Legal Counsel at SUEZ. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Bureau Veritas as an International Corporate Counsel and Legal Counsel | Europe, with responsibilities including law and policy guidance and analysis, legal support to other departments, drafting legal documentation, and negotiating contracts. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Deputy Legal & Contract Director | Europe at The NPD Group, and they are currently the Associate at Time for the Planet and the Director Of Legal Affairs | DPO at Plan A.
Sandra Kovacheva obtained their Master's degree in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2009. Sandra then completed a Master's degree in European Business Law from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) in 2010, followed by a Master's degree/Research in Environmental Law from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) in 2011. Finally, they obtained a University Diploma (Diplôme d’Université - D.U.) in International Nuclear Law from NEA ISNL - International School of Nuclear Law in 2017.
