Northscott Grounsell is an accomplished leader in the gaming and hospitality industries with extensive experience in management and continuous improvement. Currently serving as General Manager at Plainridge Park Casino since November 2020, Northscott has previously held positions such as Assistant General Manager at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk and Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, as well as General Manager at Affinity Gaming. With a strong background in Lean practices, Northscott has successfully implemented strategies resulting in significant operational improvements, including a dramatic reduction in defects at Central Laundry and a notable increase in food and beverage operating results at Palace Station Hotel and Casino. Northscott holds an MBA in Marketing and Accounting and dual Bachelor's degrees in Musical Arts and Music History & Theory from Vanderbilt University.
