Josu Ramírez is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Plain Concepts since September 2022, focusing on building high-performance collaborative teams and managing team capacity and alignment with company objectives. Prior to this role, Josu served as the Head of Software Engineering & Spatial Data Analytics at Tracasa from April 2007 to October 2022, leading a team of developers and specialists in IT and spatial location. Josu has over a decade of experience as a Project Manager and Consultant, overseeing national and international IT projects with a strong emphasis on strategy, planning, risk management, and resource allocation. Additional expertise includes a role as a Geomatics Specialist at University College Cork and a GIS and Web Applications Developer at Manchester Geomatics Ltd. Josu holds a degree in Software Engineering from Basque Country University and a Master's degree in IT Teaching from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
