Elyse Whitehead currently serves as the Head of Enterprise Legal Services at Plaid, overseeing various legal functions including corporate governance, global employment, and litigation since January 2020. Previously, Elyse held positions at Plaid as Legal Lead and Employment & Litigation Counsel, where responsibilities involved leading a team of legal professionals, promoting risk awareness, and managing compliance across employment law. Prior to Plaid, Elyse was a Shareholder at Keesal, Young & Logan, advising on employment law compliance and defending employers in litigation. Elyse participated in a career development program with Leading Women in Technology and has a JD, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco. Elyse's undergraduate degree was obtained with Highest Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Psychology.
