Anna Chu-Sumida currently serves as VP of Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance, Risk and Compliance at Marqeta since June 2020, having previously held the position of Senior Director in the same area. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Information Security Strategy and Governance, Risk and Compliance at Gap Inc., where leadership of a security team focused on aligning business risk priorities with cybersecurity goals was a key responsibility. At Yahoo, Anna managed security governance and compliance programs and established strategies based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Additional roles at eBay, McKesson, and KPMG involved building governance programs, leading audits, and advising on regulatory compliance. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Operations Management and Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
