Nina Sparks has extensive work experience in the food and manufacturing industry. Nina is currently the Vice President of Supply Chain UK&I at pladis Global, where they oversee 6 manufacturing sites, a warehouse and logistics operation, and a budget of £250M. Prior to this, Nina served as the Factory General Manager at McVities, where they were responsible for the largest volume biscuit factory in Europe and implemented productivity improvements. Nina also held roles such as Capex Buyer at United Biscuits, where they developed the capex sourcing strategy, and Project Manager at Ross Vegetable Products and RVP Foods. Nina began their career as a Graduate Trainee at United Biscuits and later took on roles as a Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager at the company. Throughout their career, Nina has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to drive results.

Nina Sparks has a diverse education history. In 1991, they attended Liverpool University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science and Industrial Management with a 2:1 grade. In 2002, they completed a program at the Chartered Institute of Mechanical Engineers, earning the CEng IMechE designation. Later, in 2010, they pursued studies at the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, achieving a Level 4 qualification. Additionally, they participated in United Biscuits Young Manager development programs and attended Weald Tertiary College in Harrow, although specific dates and degrees for these experiences are unknown.
