Hazel Choi is a Project Planner at PlaceWorks since February 2024, previously serving as a Transportation Planner at Dewberry where corridor enhancement and evacuation plans were developed alongside grant applications for federal and state transportation funding. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Transportation Planner at the Stanislaus Council of Governments, where regional planning initiatives were executed, and as a Research Fellow at Green 2.0, focusing on diversity in the environmental movement. Additional experience encompasses positions as a GIS Editor for Ryzen Solutions, Associate Editor for APA California, and various roles at San Jose State University involving GIS and data-related projects. Hazel Choi holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from San Jose State University.
