Nicholas Shailas has extensive work experience in client success and client services roles. Nicholas began their career at Beyond Interaction (MediaCom) as a Digital Media Planner, where they developed strategic digital media recommendations and managed campaign performance. Nicholas then worked as an East Coast Account Manager at Veoh Networks, where they advised clients on sponsorship opportunities and executed unique marketing and targeting strategies. Nicholas then joined YuMe (IPO) as an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and ultimately Manager of Client Services. In this role, they managed the Client Services team, increased quarterly revenue through upselling, and provided guidance to Fortune 500 advertisers. Nicholas then worked at Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce as a Cypriot Young Professionals, bringing the community together and promoting important causes. Most recently, Nicholas held the position of Senior Director of National Client Success at PlaceIQ, where they led a nationwide Client Success team, provided strategic planning and performance optimizations to clients, and implemented processes to streamline operations.
Nicholas Shailas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management & Marketing from Stony Brook University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Nicholas has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Nicholas obtained the certification in Management Essential from CCA Inc. - Corporate Counseling Associates in May 2019. Prior to that, they obtained the certifications in Successfully Managing People (Part 2) from the American Management Association in February 2015, and Successfully Managing People (Part 1) from the same institution in December 2014.
