Steven Barczyk is an experienced energy operations professional with a strong background in nuclear power and dispatch coordination. Currently serving as a Master Dispatcher at PJM Interconnection since May 2020, Steven holds certifications including the NERC Reliability Coordinator System Operator and PJM Transmission Owner/Operator. Prior to this role, Steven worked at Exelon Nuclear for over a decade, advancing to Operations Shift Manager and Senior Reactor Operator, where responsibilities included overseeing plant operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Saint Aloysius Parish and valuable service in the US Navy, where Steven supervised personnel in the operations of a land-based and sea-going nuclear reactor plant. Steven's education was completed at Excelsior University between 2007 and 2008.
