Patrick J. Caughey has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to 2022. In 2012, they founded The Heritage Project, providing custom project and office management software for architecture, engineering and construction companies. In 2014, they founded CubbyCrates, and in 2015 they founded Anno, a software service that helps teams communicate and collaborate through photos. In 2017, they served as Technical Lead for PlantFast, helping develop the technical specification for the PlantFast app. In 2018, they served as Director of Mobile Strategy & Development for Bower & Branch and as Software Engineer for Achieve Internet. In 2019, they served as Co-Founder & Technical Advisor for Pixly, an easy-to-use mobile and desktop tool for collaborating on project photos, and Co-Founder & Director of Engineering for Lively Root, contributing to the business plan and partner strategy, marketing plan, and digital ad strategy. In 2022, they are Founding Senior Software Engineer for Comprehensive.

Patrick J. Caughey obtained their Masters of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Design from the University of California, Davis between 2004 and 2009.
