Mike Mahony is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the animation and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Pixar Animation Studios since May 2015, Mike has contributed to major film projects including "Lightyear," "Turning Red," and "Soul." Prior to Pixar, Mike worked at Juicero as a Software Engineer focused on distributed systems architecture, and led software engineering efforts at Artella, a startup for collaborative animation creation. Mike's career also includes a significant role at Animation Mentor, where involvement spanned both legacy and modern systems, and earlier positions as a Sound Engineer at The Plant Studios and a Software Engineer at AlwaysOn. Mike holds a BA in Computer Science and Music from Middlebury College.
