Jesse Weglein is an experienced Lighting Technical Director at Pixar Animation Studios, with a career spanning from December 2008 to the present, contributing to notable films such as "Luca," "Turning Red," and "Elio." In addition to lighting roles, Jesse has held positions in Creative Services, serving as Lead Technical Director on projects like "Soul" and "Onward." Jesse's expertise also extends to technical direction and shot lighting for various feature productions. Prior to joining Pixar, Jesse worked as a Pediatric Anesthesiology Research Associate at Stanford Children's Health from June 2021 to April 2023. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with education from Texas A&M University and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
