Phil Sherwood has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Phil is currently serving as the VP at Pivoten since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Certified High Performance Coach™ since May 2019, helping individuals and companies achieve their highest level of performance through proven methods. Phil Sherwood is one of only 750 coaches certified by the High Performance Institute. From 1992 to 2022, Phil was the Founder, President, and Chief Oil & Gas Accounting Simplifier at SherWare, Inc., where they provided accounting solutions to oil & gas operators and non-operators. Phil developed industry-leading software that enabled users to effectively utilize QuickBooks® for oil & gas distributions, billing, and royalty tracking. Phil Sherwood's previous work experience includes roles as a Systems Programming Manager at Furrs, Inc. from 1987 to 1992, a Systems Programmer at Texas Tech University from 1984 to 1987, and a Programmer at Lubbock County, TX from 1983 to 1984.

Phil Sherwood attended Freed-Hardeman University from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Phil possesses additional certifications, including being a Certified High Performance Coach from the High Performance Institute, which they obtained in March 2019, and a Life Coach certification from Robbins Madanes Training, which they obtained in August 2017.
