Dan Poston has over 20 years of experience in the field of agronomy and research. Dan worked as an Agronomy Research Manager and Area Agronomist at DuPont Pioneer from 2008 to 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Soybean Weed Scientist/Agronomist at Mississippi State University. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Field R & D at Pivot Bio, where they previously held the position of Director of Agronomy.

Dan Poston completed a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education from Clemson University in 1989. Dan then pursued a Master of Science in Agronomy/Weed Science at Clemson University from 1989 to 1991. Later, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Physiology/Weed Science from Virginia Tech from 1996 to 1999.
