Ricardo Angel has a diverse work experience. Ricardo started their career at CNA Corp in 1994 as an Associate/Project Manager. Ricardo then joined Goldman Sachs in 2001 in the Investment Banking department. In 2002, they moved to Chevron Technology Ventures as a Principal. Ricardo then joined GE Energy Financial Services - Venture Capital Group in 2007 as a Senior Vice President. Ricardo later joined GE Ventures in 2013 as a Managing Director, and currently, they are the CEO & Managing Partner of Piva Capital since 2019. Overall, Ricardo has extensive experience in finance, investment banking, and venture capital.
Ricardo Angel earned their Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degrees in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 1988 to 1994. Ricardo obtained an MBA degree in Strategy and Management, Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they studied from 2000 to 2002.
