Kaylene Beal serves as the Director of Orchestra Operations for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra since August 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing concert production and collaborating with various departments to enhance concert experiences. Prior experience at Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra encompassed roles as Senior Manager of Orchestra Operations and Manager of Orchestra Operations, managing artistic operations and orchestra personnel. Beal also held the position of Adjunct Professor of Horn at Concordia University, teaching music students, and has worked as Production Manager for the Lincoln Crossroads Music Festival. Early career roles included serving as a Pet Adoption Counselor and Pet Trainer, along with experiences as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Beal holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from The University of Alabama, a Master of Music in Horn Performance, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Horn Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
